Tours for Schools

Pupils of all ages are most welcome on our tours. We can offer Themed and National Curriculum topics. These include: 'St Edmund and the Anglo Saxons', 'Bury in Norman Times', 'The Tudors', and 'The Victorians'. Specialist topics, such as 'Life in the Abbey', 'The Georgians in Bury', 'The Poor and their Benefactors', 'Famous People' and 'Visitors' can also be offered.

Tours tailored to suit the particular needs of a school can be arranged and we can also offer guidance and advice to indvidual students working on GCSE and A level projects.

Other themes may be developed to suit your party's interests, and Guides are happy to tailor tours to fit school projects, given adequate notice.
