Family Friendly Tour

When a Viking called Ivar the Boneless first set about attacking good King Edmund more than a thousand years ago he didn’t realise what he might unleash.

The story of Bury St Edmunds is packed with tales gory, spooky, cute and mysterious; we’ve got good kings and bad ones, fires and fights, arrows and wolves and a MASSIVE building that’s almost disappeared. But the big question is…where’s Edmund now?

Bring the family on this hour-long wander to find out some fun facts and complete some tricky tasks.

The Family Friendly Tour is on Saturday, 6 April and Saturday, 6 August. It starts at 2.00pm on Angel Hill, opposite the Abbey Gate (what3words///doubt.display.trail), and last 60 minutes.

It is in English and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Please let us know beforehand if you have any special access requirements. We regret that we cannot accept dogs (apart from assistance dogs) on our tours.

Adults £10.00, U-18s £5, U-5s free. Tickets may be booked online in advance or simply turn up on the day.
